Feeder Roaches

Our Orange Spotted Roaches (Blaptica dubia) are a great answer to those insect eating reptile owners who are tired of crickets!  Unlike other insects, and even other roach species, the Blaptica dubia do not climb smooth surfaces such as glass or plastic, do not fly or make noise!  They are a great alternative to the mess and hassle of other insects.  With a higher meat to shell ratio, you can feed less and maintain great weight and condition on your reptiles.  Adults are easy to sex, and mature in about 6 months.  Females produce approximately 20 nymphs per 4-6 weeks, with minimal supplemental heat; they prefer temps 80 degrees to 100.

Nymphs and adults are available for purchase, and are shipped overnight USPS.  Shipping will be added to purchase price. 

Adult females are $2.00 each (1 male will be supplied for every 2 females purchased)
Adult males are $1.oo each
Mixed Nymphs of various ages are available, sold in groups of 50 for $25.00

We recommend starting a colony with 50-100 adults to begin breeding your own insects.
