Crested Geckos
Crested Geckos (Rhacodactylus ciliatus) are medium sized geckos from the family Diplodactylidae. Originating from New Caledonia, the Crested Gecko was thought to be extinct until 1994 when they were spotted on Isle de Pines (one of the smaller islands.) Since then the Crested Geckos’ popularity has soared due to the ease of their husbandry and their readiness to reproduce in captivity. These geckos come in a large variety of colors and patterns.
